Candidates must possess and demonstrate a solid background in firearm safety and shooting skills acquired through previous firearm training and/or previous shooting experience. Instructor candidates must be intimately familiar with each action type in the discipline for which they wish to be certified.
Take your career to the next level by arming your students with practical and real-world training. These courses will certify you as a national certified firearms instructor with USCCA or NRA.
The student will acquire knowledge on training others, how to safely use handguns, course presentation, communication skills and much more.

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a USCCA certified instructor, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students.

* Step 3: NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course.
Cost: $249. This course is discipline specific. During the course candidates will learn NRA policies and procedures; basic public speaking skills; training methodology; use of a training team and training aids; organizing a course, building a budget; and finally preparing to teach. BIT (Basic Instructor Training) is required within 2 years prior to taking this class
In addition, candidates will be provided the appropriate lesson plans and basic course student packets. Role-playing is a major part of an instructor course. Candidates take turns working in teams, actually conducting portions of the course to other candidates who portray basic students.
All courses include the required NRA documentation, instructor guides, student packets, instruction and follow up support. You will receive everything needed to first take and then teach each course.
