Public Safety & Martial Arts Instructor:
Master Keith Bennett

Master Bennett is a 7th degree Master in the Martial Arts and has a PhD in Martial Arts Studies. He has studied the martial arts since 1976 and holds belts in multiple styles. In 2009 KSN Bennett launched his own martial arts style, combining his own philosophy with those of traditional Korean Martial Arts. He has instructed various members of Law Enforcement in personal safety and self defense for over 30 years. Master Bennett is a former U.S. Army Sgt 1st Class - Infantry having served for 12 years. He continues to lead our school through its evolution. Under his guidance thousands of students have been shown the benefits of Martial Arts.


Public & Private Law Enforcement Instructor:

Philip Zitano, NYPD Ret.

Philip Zitano has over 20 years experience as a New York City Police Officer with a diverse background which includes serving in the following capacities: Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Community Police Officer. In addition, provided security for high visibility events and visiting dignitaries. Worked in both uniform and plain clothes in various enforcement and patrol functions; and assisted in the World Trade Center Recovery and Security. His specialty training includes: Dignitary Protection Training, Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device Training, Emergency Service Tactical Movement School (CIRC), Colt M4 and Ruger Mini 14 Rifles, F.A.T.S. (Firearms Training Simulator). He is an instructor for both law enforcement and civilians. Phil is familiar with all modern law enforcement firearms and less lethal devices.


Tameeka Williams

Tameeka Williams

Tameeka has over 10 years performing all aspects of leadership. She specializes in conducting office & field operations, initiating staff briefings and other duties. She takes pride in preparing and motivating others. She performs job placement assistance services and directs all operational functions while monitoring the flow of incoming and outgoing transactions. She maintains a degree in Social Work, certified as an Adult Educator, NTSI Defensive Driving Instructor and a NYS Licensed Realtor.  

Virginia Upton

Virginia Upton

Ginny Upton has been involved in teaching Defensive Driving and Pre-Licensing courses in the area's surrounding counties for the last 15 years! She earned her Dutchess Community College AAS degree and Marist College BS degree both cum laude as an evening student while working full time. Ginny was also active as a Dale Carnegie graduate assistant for the Effective Speaking and Human Relations courses in the Newburgh and Poughkeepsie areas.

Pat Maurer

Patricia Maurer

Pat received her BA in Pyhysical Education at SUNY Cortland, MA at Western Conn. State College and an Educational Leadership Degree at Southern Conn. State University. She received her degree to teach driver education in 1991 and has taught that course for many years. She also taught private one on one driving lessons for over 20 years.

Senior Court Clerk/ Court Officer Ret.

Mrs. Turner has over 25 years experience in the public safety and clerical fields. While serving as a NYS Senior Court Clerk she has acquired the skills to multi-task in a high paced work environment. She has served as a liaison between attorneys, media representatives, agencies and the public. As a NYS Court Officer she has received countless hours of training and experience in dealing with various aspects of security and public safety. She is currently certified as a NYS Notary.
